The Child is a documentary that explores the current state of parental rights in America. An unseen battle is developing between the rights of parents and the authority of the government to direct the upbringing and education of children. The stakes are high; the outcome of this struggle will affect countless future generations.
Little public attention has been given to the issue of parental rights. Few people understand what “parental rights” are, much less that they risk losing them. The Child will fill this void of unawareness by explaining the situation: What parental rights are, how they are being threatened, what the consequences will be, and what can be done to defend the rights of American parents to raise their children in liberty and peace.

Mosab Hassan Yousef was born in Ramallah, in the West Bank in 1978. His father, Sheikh Hassan Yousef, is a founding leader of Hamas, internationally recognized as a terrorist organization and responsible for countless suicide bombings and other deadly attacks against Israel. Yousef was an integral part of the movement, for which he was imprisoned several times by the Shin Bet, the Israeli intelligence service. He withstood torture in prison only to discover Hamas was torturing its own people in a relentless search for collaborators. He began to question who his enemies really were – Israel? Hamas? America? After a chance encounter with a British tourist, Yousef started a six-year quest thatjeopardized Hamas, endangered his family and threatened his life. He has since embraced the Christian faith and sought political asylum in America.

God has a timeless message to share with all of His creation and that is a message of hope, of peace and of love. Not a conditional or temporary love,
but a love that is without limit and without conditions. Crossing denominational and ethnic lines, Evangelist/Pastor Raul Ries is the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Golden Springs, a non-denominational church in Diamond Bar, California. Raul Ries’ also hosts half-hour radio broadcast, Somebody Loves You Radio, heard daily nationwide. His riveting and dramatic life story is the subject of the feature film, Fury to Freedom (taken from the book of the same name).

Pastor Pancho Juarez is well known in his community as a local “son gone awry” only to reappear later on as a compassionate person, changed. In 1990, this new person returned to his hometown of his high school days, and decided to start a home-fellowship in a duplex home on California street. Pancho continues to share his straight-ahead, straight-up style of teaching. While he is still going through the divine refinement process, and lacking polished public-speaking abilities, he nevertheless will not shy away from these impediments, and will exploit any opportunity given to share the message of Christ any place, anywhere. He strongly believes that Jesus Christ is the only answer and hope for this dying world.

The heavens are telling the glory of God and their expanse declares the work of His hands. Night after night they remind us of just how small we are, and howhuge God is. Looking out into the far reaches of the universe, we find a seemingly infinite expanse of mystery and wonder, intricately fashioned by a God of unfathomable size and power. Just a glimpse of one of the billions of visible galaxies He has formed resizes us, shrinking us and the world we call home to seeming insignificance in an instant. But as tiny as we may seem the God who knows every star by name also knows yours, and mine. And in the most stunning rescue imaginable God sent His Son to this spinning planet we call home- the Creator reconnecting us to Himself with life that never ends. Indescribable takes us on an image-rich journey through the cosmos, allowing us to peer into God’s universe to discover the amazing magnitude of His greatness and grace.

During these tough economic times when needs are great and resources are few, we depend on God more and more each day to shine His love and light on the work of our station. Through you we are constantly reminded that He is an AWESOME God and His love endures forever!

This past month KALO-‐TV conducted a capital campaign to raise funds for a much-‐needed new digital video server. Specifically, we needed to raise $10,000 to match the contribution of a very generous single donor who committed to give the station $25,000 thus raising a grand total of $35,000, the cost of the new equipment. To God be the glory, your generosity helped our station reach 150% of our goal! We are humbled and in awe of His great love and your obedience.
This new 30-minute documentary by The Family Research Council is a riveting, eye-opening and prophetic analysis of what may well be the most critical issue of our time. Most people will say such a statement is extreme to the point of being ridiculous, even fanatical. That is only because they have no sense of history — the rise and fall of cultures — and also don’t understand the principles and realities upon which our existence is rooted. If we destroy marriage (and this video clearly shows that this is where we are headed) we will in the end have destroyed our future and ourselves.

KALO TV is on Oceanic Channel 25 and Channel 38 – Specials are shown on Tuesday @ 7pm, Thursday @ 8pm, Friday @ 10:30pm, and Saturday @ 7:30pm. Please feel free to forward this information and share it with your friends and family. Mahalo and God bless!

Dr. Tim LaHaye is a noted author, minister, and nationally recognized speaker on Bible prophecy. LaHaye is the founder and president of Tim LaHaye Ministries and the co-founder of the Pre-Trib Research Center.

The Pre-Trib Research Center was established for the express purpose of exposing ministers to the teachings of good Bible prophecy with the pre-tribulation view. Currently they publish, The Pre Trib Perspectives, a monthly journal, keeping the reader on the cutting edge of unfolding prophetic events. It also keeps the reader from being deceived as we approach the end of the age. Exposing these false prophets and their harmful teaching is part of the work of the Pre-Trib Research Center.

Dr. LaHaye speaks at many of the major Bible prophecy conferences in the United States and Canada. His writing projects are a major part of LaHaye’s ministry as he believes that if the Lord tarries, the written page will leave a longer lasting influence for generations to come.

The fellowship started in August 1990 with just six people in the Andrew’s home in Chino Hills, California. Each week the furniture in their home would be moved out to make way for more chairs and more people. From the very beginning, the Lord blessed the fellowship with slow but steady growth. Video lines were run through the house which allowed the growing number of adults to watch the service that was underway in the living room while they sat in other rooms of the house! A short time later, the church began to meet publicly in a rented industrial complex in Chino. There, the church grew radically from about one hundred adults to a little over two thousand, not counting the youth and children.

He grew up entrenched in the surf industry and was the heir to the most famous surfboard company in the world, Channel Islands Surfboards. As a young adult, he oversaw the companys marketing and advertising and managed its amateur surf team. Working alongside his father, Surfing Hall of Famer Al Merrick, he also made (shaped) surfboards for some of the best surfers on Earth.

Britt received Jesus as Savior when he was a young child, but he had never known what it was like to walk with God every day. He had both feet in the world, using and drugs, drinking alcohol, and getting into trouble. In his early twenties, Britt was introduced to the transforming power of the Gospel and the Word of God and He began a new life. Shortly after re-committing himself to the Lord he started to teach Bible studies for local surfer kids at his parents home. In 1998 Britt was invited to expand the studies and launched a Friday night college ministry at a church in Santa Barbara. In 2003, sensing a further call to ministry, he laid aside his work at Channel Islands and the Friday night college ministry and he, his wife and some close friends started a church called Reality in his hometown of Carpinteria.

Reality Carpinteria has grown to a multi-campus church of about 3,000 adults. The Reality family has expanded to include churches in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Stockton and London (England). Reality is passionate about church planting, community transformation and equipping and mobilizing the next generation of leaders. Britt continues to serve as pastor full time and recently authored the book Big God: What Happens When We Trust Him, which was endorsed by Francis Chan, Wayne Grudem, John Perkins and others. He lives and surfs with his wife Kate, and their two children in Carpinteria.

Gospel for Asia Founder & President

Dr. K.P. Yohannan has been crisscrossing the globe for the last 40 years, challenging the body of Christ to discipleship. His call to a radical lifestyle with an all-out commitment to Jesus has left its impact on nearly every continent. To the Church caught up by the tidal waves of compromise and self-preservation, Yohannans life message is as fresh as todays podcast yet as timeless as the scriptural mandate itself.

Yohannan is the founder and international director of Gospel for Asia, a Christian mission organization that has brought the Good News of Christ to millions in South Asia over the last three decades.

Born in India, Dr. Yohannan, at the age of 16, responded to the Lords call to serve Him in North India. In 1974, he came to the United States, where he received his theological training and pastored a church for four years.

The Lord reminded Yohannan of the countless millions in Asia still waiting to learn of His love for them. In response, he resigned his pastorate, and he and his wife, Gisela, started what is known today as Gospel for Asia. Today, the ministry supports thousands of national workers and vibrant congregations throughout South Asia. Additionally, Gospel for Asias Bridge of Hope program cares for tens of thousands of children, helping them break out of the generational curses of poverty and hopelessness.
